Email spoofing is a technique in which an attacker falsifies the sender’s email address to make a message appear as if it comes from a trusted source. It is commonly used in phishing or fraud attacks to mislead the recipient.
A solution for blocking this type of email is to blacklist your own domain in Spam Filters.
