From your cPanel account, access FTP Accounts.

Fill in the fields as specified below:
Log In: Choose a username;
Domain: Choose the domain;
Password: Choose a complex password of at least 12 characters (you can also use the password generator);
Directory: The location where the FTP account has access;
Quota: Set the quota limit for the FTP account.

When you scroll down, you will see FTP Accounts, which displays a list of all created FTP accounts. Four actions are available: Change Password, Change Quota, Delete and Configure FTP Client. The last option allows you to download an automatic configuration file for one of the two FTP clients: CoreFTP or Cyberduck.

An example of a Special FTP Account is your cPanel account and it has access to all the files. This FTP account can't be deleted.
