How to enable your authenticator

Using an authenticator app adds an extra layer of security to your account by generating time‑based one‑time codes (TOTPs). These codes help verify your identity when you sign in, keeping your data safe even if someone knows your password. Follow the steps below to set up an authenticator quickly and easily.

📱First, install an Authenticator App

You can use any trusted authenticator app, like these free ones, Microsoft Authenticator or Google Authenticator, from your device's official app store

🔧Access your myEasyhost account, go to Account security > Authenticator and click on Enable authenticator

📸 Scan the QR Code or setup manually the code that you see above the QR code.

When you choose to enable an authenticator, the system will display a QR code.

1. Open your authenticator app.
2. Select Add account or Scan QR code or click on the plus symbol. 
3. Use your phone’s camera in order to scan the QR code.
4. Type your password and the 6 digit code from your app

Your authenticator is now active.
