How to transfer your Domain Name to Easyhost

There are a few steps to be followed in order to begin to transfer your domain name to Easyhost.

Unlock the Domain Name

To make the domain name available for transfer, first check your administration interface for the option to unlock your domain name.

If this option is not available in the interface, you will need to ask your current registrar to unlock it for you.

To identify the registrar, please follow the guidelines available here.

Obtain the EPP code

An EPP code, Authorization code or Auth code is a unique password that confirms that only the owner of a domain name can request its transfer.

To obtain an EPP code, first check your client account. If the registrar does not include this feature in their interface, please contact their support and ask them to provide it.

IPS Tag - .co.uk

.co.uk TLDs are a special case: they do not have an EPP code, and they rely instead on an IPS Tag that differs from ne registrar to another.

You will need to ask your current registrar to change it with our IPS Tag in order to allow the domain name transfer.

Easyhost's IPS Tag is HOSTWAY (all capitals).
